What is 'DOLPHIN'? 70% of Rotary's non-precious metal range now benefits from the Dolphin Standard so that you can swim and dive all day. Rotary Dolphin watches are tested to ISO 2281 and are suitable for Swimming, Shallow Diving, Yachting and Bathing/Showering.

Can I swim in salt water in my Dolphin watch? Yes, however it is recomended that your watch is washed in clear, cool water after contact with salt water.

Can I use my watch for scuba diving? No. It is strongly recommended that for SCUBA or NITROX diving a specialist diving watch (200m and over) is used.

How do I change the time/date on my Dolphin watch? To set the time or date on your watch unscrew the crown in a downward/anti clockwise direction. Once the screw is released pull the crown outwards gently until it clicks once and rotate the crown in a clockwise direction to change the date (only on date watches) To change the time pull the crown out once more until it clicks and gently rotate the crown in a clockwise direction. To close the crown push it inwards whilst at the same time rotating the crown in a clockwise direction. It is very important to ensure that the crown is fully screwed into a closed position in order to maintain water resistancy.

Where do I get the battery changed? When due a battery change we strongly advise that the watch is returned to ourselves or to Rotary for resealing to preserve the water resistancy.

Can I swim with a leather strap watch? New water resistant leather straps with hypo-allergenic linings mean that strap watches also meet Rotarys stringent criteria. Please ensure that if used in salt water or water containing chlorine, soaps or detergents that the strap should be carefully cleaned immediately after use.
